Showing & raising livestock is my passion. With that, I naturally found a love for their unique view behind the camera. I have since grown that passion into taking professional pictures for sales, shows, and advertisements for others stock. I have the upmost respect for a quality and natural picture, leaving the photoshop to be minimal and keep the animal true.
A good photo makes all the difference in the world, when it comes to advertising your livestock. Rather it be your donor dams, herd sires, offspring, or sale lots. It's the first look that most of your clientele will view, and either turn them away or keep them interested. There's never been a truer saying, then "a picture is worth a thousand words."
With my focus at keeping the animal as natural as they come, but still providing a print worthy photo, this keeps the integrity and the interest intact with your livestock.
With a good sale photo, a quality video to follow is just the icing on the cake and what truly sells the integrity of the picture. I offer sale lot videos if needed along with my pictures. In todays online marketing, videos are always requested from future buyers, and with good reason. It it highly important when marketing stock for sale, that you have a short video that represents all angles of the animal, on and/or off the lead in motion. These high quality videos are very useful for online sales and catalogs and another source of advertisement on social media to keep the attention of your lots.
Every farm, ranch and business needs a solid logo to set yourself apart and stand out. I do design work as well, designing unique logos, specializing in custom work to stand out for you and your business. I have standard graphics of livestock, or can create your very own using your own animals within your logo, but it a digitized format. Giving a personal look to your logo.
Nothing speaks advertising like a good ole fashioned ad, but specifically designed for todays fast moving world in social media. I offer design work in sale flyers, show ads, and sire and donor promos. If you want your sale lot to stand out, and have all the sale info in one uniform place, a promotional ad is the way to go.
If your show is in need of a stylish banner for your exhibitors to hold at the backdrop, then that is another thing I offer here. I know as a showman myself, there's nothing cooler than taking home a banner that's cool in its design and stands out as a fond memory when I received it.
Something new I have started to offer is designing catalogs. Of course there are so many online options to enter catalog information and have it readily available for viewers to find and scroll through. But should you find yourself to keep it a little old school with your sale, I do offer the design work of building a catalog that is downloadable in a pdf file for you take straight to the printers to print that classic catalog book for your in person attendees. Truly a way to help your sale stand out, giving more than a basic printed packet, and even a keep sake for your sale viewers to take home as souvenir. These are especially a cool idea for dispersal sales, or elite stock show sales that needed that added touch of something special.
Aside from the picturing of your animals, the exhibitors have a special place in my heart as well. There's nothing better than going to show, where you find out that there is a photographer in the ring, to capture all the moments and angles that you can not. This is a special way to give your exhibitors, judges and show staff an option to not stress about missing out on those memories that can't bring home with them.
This is where I take a break from the camera & laptop. Clipping and fitting has been under my belt for a long time, being a breeder and showman myself. It truly makes a difference on the presentation of your show animal when they walk in the ring, if they are dialed in on a good clip job. I realize, it's not for everyone, and some simply don't have the time when bringing or prepping a large string of animals. I take the worry away, with helping you get your animals dialed in and show ring ready, or prepped for pictures. I'll supply the clippers if your supply the animal and product!
If you're a visual learner like myself, then hopefully you'll find this video helpful. Here is a detailed video on how to clip a breeding show doe, with step by step instructions.
A good place to come if you're needing some tips on blending!
My mom and I put together this video after tons of requests. If you're needing advice of proper hoof trimming to maintain your goats, this is a good place to start.
